unfortunately this isn't doing it for me:-)
replacing floppy with camera and fd0 with sdb1 gives me 'wrong file system or 
too many mounted file systems' error

reverting to the original fstab and running #supemount -i enable rewrites 
fstab to have the options you suggest but i still get the error message,

something else is needed but i don't know what it is
