I have a HP Jornada 525... really regret having bougth it :-(
I haven't been able to get free software for it, and not been able to
get a decent linux on it (it's a sh3 processor), so there are *some*
programs I miss (mainly a database as it does not come with MS ACCESS)
I you prefer PocketPC option, my best advice is to google around and see
if a linux with X, and *many* free software is availabe for it or it
will become just a toy. I though that mine should become very popular so
it would have thousands of free software... *completely wrong*.
You can have a bestium pda but it would be nothing without the precise
software, so if I were you I would concentrate on present available
software.

PD: When will companies open their eyes and their minds? Maybe HP
prematurely killed this cool and cheap pda by trying to charge also by
its software. And... what's the sense of not providing the info they've
got if the product is now no longer produced??? Maybe it's easier to
declassify a top secret governamental document than release a private
company dead product specification......
