i had a similar problem installing some packages in 8.2  Once urpmi 
makes up its mind about where a package ought to be, it's very 
difficult to convince it otherwise.  For some reason, giving short 
names causes it to ask for the CDs, and sometimes it doesn't even ask 
for the right CDs.  Giving full package names, however, or using 
wildcards causes it to look in the current directory.  So this should 
work fine:

# cd <directory where the samba server rpm is>
# urpmi samba-server*
