In fact there is no device to mount the floppy

in /dev there is no fd0 so i can t mount the floppy. Thus when it ask
for a floppy disk with 3rd party driver, it always said it can detect a
valid ext2 floopy disk.

Is there a way to create a device fd0 so as i can mount the floppy and
then read the drivers?
