Hi Hans, The seti client is a part of the setiathome project. It's not that I'm looking for martian or some strange creature ;-) but I like that my computer not running all the time in the idle task. :-) Seti client run in background at low priority (19) and compute fourier transform and others... You can find the download page at http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ Check your cpu heater and fan first and look at the cpu temperature. Best regard Thierry
