The simple explanation is written in the first sentence on that
DVD-site you just sent me to:
"Due to patent and copyright issues, Linux distributions cannot include
all the software that is required to view most Hollywood DVDs."
Programs and other things which cannot be included in the distribution
are not subject of the manuals.
