I recently upgraded to Mandrake 9.0 (actually a fresh install, I took the opportunity to replace my hard drive as well.) and ever since I have been having trouble with my computer 'forgetting' it's IP address. I haven't been able to confirm this (as I don't know where the appropriate logs are located) but it seems like the DHCP lease isn't being renewed. I have switched to a static IP address and it seems to be working OK (so far).
Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, is there a fix for it? Thanks in advance.
