  /var/log/dhcpcd.log and/or /var/log/messages

Linux (and all *NIX) save logs to /var/log/ you just need to find
what file in there has the log you want. The easiest way is:

  grep -R <somekeyword> *

That'll search all files and subdirs for the keyword and tell you
which files have said keyword. grep is case-sensitive unless you -i
  (--ignore-case) the search.

  No, haven't seen it.
