That depends on where you put the windows xp. 

Rule #1 have at least the /boot partition on disk 1.
Rule #2 if xp will be completely on drive two, configure your boot entry like 
so:

other=/dev/hdb1
        label=windows
        table=/dev/hdb
        map-drive = 0x80
        to = 0x81
        map-drive = 0x81
        to = 0x80

That is my entry for my windowsxp installation on the second disk. HTH
