From what I have seen and experienced so far, the most IMPORTANT thing Linux needs now is good DOCUMENTATION. Windows, Mac, all of them have excellent user documentation thus making the user feel at home and not lost.
You must be joking.

Microsoft provides incredibly poor user documentation.

Didn't you ever see a "circular reference" in Windows documentation? Text "A" saying "go to B", and text "B" saying "go to A" ?

Weren't you ever frustrated by "helpful" Windows advice when your printer stopped working?

Didn't you find the scandisk message "shut down your computer properly next time to avoid this message" infuriating, because you could not shut down Windows properly because it locked up for fourth consecutive time in a row?

I believe that you must have used Windows very little if you praise Windows documentation. Good for you :-)
