Even though I did urpmi /mnt/cdrom2/Mandrake/RPMS2/minicom-2.00.0-2mdk.i586.rpm, it STILL tried to hit /mnt/cdrom for quite a while. ? BUT.... it did finally tell me that it was already installed. Woohoo! Thanks very much. I had a total mental melt down tonight. I won't swear to it, and I refuse to go back through my bash history to protect the guilty! :) I think I went to all the trouble to do it as above, but forgot the extension. DOH!!!
