Unfortunately, that isn't the problem. I wish it was that simple. There is no integrated nic. Using a natsemi card. Fixed by a reinstall. Didn't want to do it, but time was of the essence and I'd already taken 4+ hours trying to fix it. I think that it was getting confused by some modem settings that were there from a modem being in the system. I removed it and put the nic in to connect to the cable modem. It works now.
