Ken, I had a lot of trouble with 9.0 and my SCSI system - like you install
went fine, but the reboot after always hung - right at "finding module
dependencies". I could use the alternate kernel (nonfb or failsafe) and it
would sometimes let me in.
I know this isn't the same thing as yours but you might be able to use nonfb
or failsafe to at least get into a running setup and fix whatever's wrong.
(you can also do the F1 and upgrade only to get your setup without having to
reinstall anything).
