Why do you like grub over lilo?

It was default when I installed 7.1 and I've stuck with it. There was a time when grub overcame the 1024 cylinder limit for placement of the boot files before lilo did, IIANM, and some who know more than I do seem to think it is better.

There is no need to reinstall the bootloader after each menu edit. I had a problem, recently, when I was moving partitions around and my grub stage2 file was corrupt, so when I couldn't reinstall grub, it was nice to be able to use lilo. I don't have a lot of experience to compare.
