Well, I'm getting closer to recovering the system after the crash... I can log in now, and the web works again.
But now I can't seem to get imap working again. (and thus my mail!). It's installed, and has the proper entries in both /etc/services, and /etc/xinetd.d, and the port is open in the firewall. BUT, it still refuses connections (a clue, it was slammed shut by msec, and doesn't "want" t re-enable...).. Any clues about where else I should look? Thanks in advance! Ric
