Backup all the users files. Delete and replace the user, then copy all the files back. Just try to ensure he has the same UID #. If you can't then a recursive "chown" may be of use once you are finished step one. I am not aware how this could affect samba but it wouldn't if it wasn't running at the time. -- Michael
