You're best bet at this point is to go to java.sun.com and download the
1.4.1 JRE or JDK. Since I usually have multiple JDK's on my system, I
generally download the .tar.gz file and place the JDK in my file system
where I want it. If you don't care, the RPM version might be easier for you
to install.

If there's anything else that you need, feel free to ask.

Best regards,

David

        Hello,

I was trying to run Jplot. It is a scientific plotting program. I
downloaded the executable file JPlot.jar from
        http://www.cig.ensmp.fr/~vanderlee/jplot.html
and tried to execute it by typing
        java -jar JPlot.jar
All I obtained was an error message that java was unable to find some
classes.
Then I tried to set the CLASSPATH as I did with Mandrake 8.2, that is
pointing
to Klasses.jar. But never found it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

        Fabian.
