BTW, Would someone PLEASE tell the Developers that the SCSI Disks are getting Closer and Close to 100GB, how are we supposed to support the files on these Servers? Are we supposed to break them up into Smaller Pieces? I CAN implement the SPLIT command, but would prefer to be LAZY and let the CPU Handle it For me!!!!
I'll Get off of my Compatibility SoapBox, for now.

I recently requested Support from the Mandrake Community, in the absence of such, I took my problem to the developers of Perl. Here's an unpopular response about my inquiry.

[n] Checking whether your C compiler can cast large floats to int32. While it is apparent that the -Uuselargefiles directive is used, I am not certain that this is being applied to the configuration, as the next question is asking 'Try to understand large files, if available?' and the default answer is [n].-Uuselargefiles means *don't* use large files. -D == define. -U == undefine. So you likely want to change that to -Duselargefiles and maybe question why Mandrake is shutting it off. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I guess inquiring minds want to know, WHY is Mandrake NOT Supporting Large Files in the stock distribution of PERL? SINCE I NEED LARGE FILE SUPPORT, CAN I GET IT WITH MY MANDRAKE?
