I had found problems if I tried to have two fairly large (about 60-70 page) Starwriter documents open at the same time. This apparently resulted in corruption of the files, and I could no longer open them once that had happened. Others checked the files for me, and found that they could open them singly, but confirmed my problem with opening them both at the same time. When I found the patch I was unclear as to what it would do, other than it was supposed to have some bug fixes, and I had nothing to lose. In the event it seems that the major change is to improve the handling of Asian fonts, but the bug fixes seem to have cured my problem, as I can now open the two files that caused my original problem and cut and paste between them without any problem whatsoever.
