One full minute? Are you sure you're not exaggerating a little bit? I don't use OO but use Staroffice now and again and it is slow but it certainly doesn't take a minute. I haven't timed it yet but I would be suprised if it actually took more than 20 to 30 seconds tops. My system: athlon 1.1Ghz, 128M ram, MDK 9.0.
