This script work without any errors when run from the command line (only fails when run as a cron task)
Have you checked your non-intereactive environment?
Write short script that dumps the output of the "env" command to a file and then put it into cron.
Next, examine the contents of the file and compare them with the output of the same command when entered at the command line.
