Well, six months into 8.0 they had to essentially re-write the entire file
system, plus there have been troubles with the ext3 journaling system, and
now the problems re-emerged with SSL about a month ago. At this rate if they
take all the patches I've downloaded faithfully and applied, we'd almost
have a new operating system. I've got a few servers running RedHat,
unfortunately. <evil leer>

I just hope that it is as stable and bug-free as 9.0 has been. It took me
over a week to get the [EMAIL PROTECTED] ATI All-in-Wonder Pro TV card working, and
I *like* having TV on my desktop now. The scanner, the Zip Disk and the Jazz
Drive and both EIDE drives all work flawlessly, even. So let us hope they
don't break what isn't broken. 8-)
