Hi, Charlie I use kde, and for most things I don't have a problem. I use xpp when printing from a browser, so that I get access to my printer setups (one printer, four configurations), and it works well. However, the problem comes when, for instance, I want to print out a faq from a docs directory. I open them in a text editor, but for some reason they don't print correctly. If I open them in KWord I lose the first page. It's most odd. I can print other kinds of documents correctly as 2-up. You would not expect plain text documents to be the cause of problems. Anne
