Hi guys, I have just installed the above mentioned speakers on my Mandrake 9.1 box and am having trouble with very low volume out of the left speaker. My nephew says he had the same trouble with his under Windows, however he fixed it (he thinks) in the speaker properties in the OS.
I did manage to get both channels to work properly last night after fiddling with the volume controls in kmix, however, it has gone back to how it was and no amount of fiddling with the faders is helping this time... In Gnome, the volume control applet is also no help, however, I notice that when I separate the left and right volume faders, the left volume control seems to affect the subwoofer volume more than the right one does (or maybe it is just an aural illusion!). Has anyone else here experienced this issue, and what do I need to do to fix it? Thanks for any help, John...
