Hi Bryan,

here is my part:
# SASL SUPPORT FOR CLIENTS
#
# The following options set parameters needed by Postfix to enable
# Cyrus-SASL support for authentication of mail clients.
#
smtpd_sasl_security_options = noanonymous
smtpd_sasl_local_domain = $myhostname
#broken_sasl_auth_clients = yes
smtpd_recipient_restrictions = permit_mynetworks, permit_sasl_authenticated,
reject_unauth_destination
smtpd_sasl_auth_enable = yes
#smtp_sasl_password_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/saslpasswd

I wanted to use the /etc/shadow file as /etc/sysconfig/saslauthd is configured
with pam. Anyway - - I'll try it with the saslpasswd file in the postfix
Directory.

Coming from a company where duplication of efforts is bad, e.g. 2 different
files for passwords - is something I don't like doing ...

Thx 4 'ur help

        Joerg

The only problem with seeing too much is that it makes you insane.
