Hi Anne,

actually - you can change things. With TAB you can cycle the stuff around. 
Then you make sure that the option you have choosen is selected, hit TAB 
twice to be on the "Do" button - and you then can do some stuff.

Also - XFdrake --help shows you some options for manual working. Try it out :) 
It might help to disable autodetection etc.

One thing that might be interesting is the output of: lspcidrake
So we can see what the System sees on the PCI/AGP devices.
