None of the contrib kernels are on the download edition... Here is a list of all packages on the download edition... http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/9.2/features/15.php3 The reason for dropping kernel-source, was AFAIK to make room for all the kde-i18n, koffice-i18n stuff... as you know mdk supports *many* languages... as for dropping smp / enterprise kernels... that's not an option..., as there are many home-users too that have smp systems... of course you could drop the up kernels, since the smp/ent kernels does work on up system, but then again we would have to drop support for laptop features, as not all of them are smp safe... > few that use them as compared to those with NVidia video cards and the like > (those who need to rebuild the kernel or build drivers that depend on the > kernel source).
