Make certain that you have in my case kmix volume turned on. If that is not
the problem:-
Go into Mandrake Control Center and then:- HardDrake helps you set up your
hardware:- click on your sound card an run the configure tool. work through
the commands and see how you go. Every Mandrake install I have to go through
this procedure to get the sound working.
