I want to be able the smalltalk VM to rebuild self from scratch
(producing new VM executable) without using C complier/e.t.c.
+1. I think we are finally getting closer to a time when C wont be needed
anymore. And this is something that is really needed for the reasons you
mentioned (e.g. math overflow) and more.
