My wife has been using it for a couple of weeks now, and says she'd prefer it the other way. She said it seems more natural to her. She uses the slider at the top quite a bit, and earlier -> recent is the expectation for that model. So I'd suggest user-configurable ordering. Would http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321260 be the bug to add a comment to?
