I used a 36 deg cam in my Polaris secondary. (I believe that is standard)
The clutch can be rather tough to put together, by only one person, without
the use of a tool. I made one after looking at the one in Dennis Kirk
catalog. Made life a lot easier.

A good starting point for spring tension is about 10 lbs measured at the rim
of the moving shive. Remember you can't adjust the engagement RPM or the
shift out point by adjusting the secondary.

if the cluth was made tighter reason I ask is that before i took the
secondard appart the belt seem to ride higher in the groove. This helped
but maybe a quarter in lower than where it was before taking apart
