Fuel Safe is another fuel cell manufacturer. While their prices have also
almost doubled over the past few years they are producing cells. Most of
the cells we use would be Custom Designs.

Subject: [F500] fuel cells

I think we need to start looking at addressing the fuel cell issue, theres
only one place that makes them and i cant even get an answer out of them for
2 months, even though the cost is high i still cant even get them to quote
the stuff i need. a lot of the f500's have been around for quite a while and
i see this becoming a huge problem as cells start leaking from
deterioration.
other than atl does anyone know of another source, i cant find anything at
all. Maybe use of small rotary cells with a thicker shell could get approved
since we are using small amounts of fuel, and if you have onboard halon
system i think this could be an acceptable solution.

I dont understand how you can require something that doesnt exist, expecting
us to stuff a huge 8 or 10 gallon cell in these cars is ridiculous and very
frustrating

ANY IDEAS????
