Lou,

I concur !

The F5's have about as much suspension travel as an F1- about an inch !

Some of us are complaining about mixing it up with FF's at different tracks and then we see some of our guys now putting the whip on 'em !

Go figure !

Subject: Re: [F500] Rubber Puck Rule Change Proposal

Question/s...does anyone else foresee this problem? Looking at our Invader,
it looks as if 3" pucks will necessatate shorter canister push rods. Also
with 3" long puck we'de probably need to change to a different type/kind of
rubber durometer and maybe different rocker ratios.

Looks like this change will result in more expense to change the suspension
and research to find out what combination works...best.

Why are changing something that has worked for years???

Anyone else thinking along these lines?
Thanks.

I know that my memory is getting bad with old age and all but I vaguely remember that the proposal that we all agreed to was a 3" long cylinder, 2" diameter(from Jay Novak's proposed dimensions) and that this looked good because it meant that the shock tube diameter could stay about the same because the diameter was staying the same. The rule change in fastrack says the opposite -- 2" tall and
3" diameter. Please help with a memory check.

TIA,
Jim
