Hi,

Regarding:
"I'll take a crack at the MK years:

1990-1992 - Mk 5
1993-1995 - Mk 7
1996-2000 - Mk 8

Mk 8.5 was an update.

Adjustments anyone?"

The first year for the Mark 5 was 1989. I believe only 3 were made this year.
I have chassis 1989-03 (though very few original parts remain) which
was purchsed by my brother in 1991 - we were the 3rd owner. Chico's
car is the 1989-02 chassis, which he received from Harry Iha and who
had purchased it from Tony Esparanca who got it from Puccini racing
the original owners. 1989-01 was the prototype and was never really
finished, it was originlly owned by Kurt Jechel who received it as
payment for his work on the design. Kurt traded it to Jonh Lopardo in
exchange for his rides at Lopardo racing in the mid 90s. Last I heard
John Lopardo sold it before moving to Florida.
03 was the one in the KBS video that flipped at Atlanta in 1989 and
02 I believe was driven by John Puccini at the Run-Offs in that same
year. (If Galen reads this please correct me if I'm in error).
Legend has it that the cars were finished in the trailer while
en-route to the run-offs that year.

Regards,
Jeff
