well i didnt say i didnt use one, but the ones you can can get off the shelf
are a bit of a pain to get close, after spending a few days playing with
them I cut a few of my own and those are the only ones i had had real good
luck with, the only drawback for a lot of ppl is you have to have a nice
digital rotary and a cnc to cut one right

As Dan has been playing with these cars longer than most anyone in the
class, I do not feel qualified to agree or diagree with his post, but if
you walk around the paddock at Topeka in Oct, you will be hard pressed to
find more than 2 or 3 cars without progressive helixes.
