Stan, Good start, but the crux of the question is whether the entries to qualify a class for the Runoofs are only counted for National events or National and Regional. I would like to think that my entries into the Regionals here count toward "participation." I'll enter National events as soon as I can.

Gene, The SCCA Operations Handbook instructs Timing and Scoring folks to count "entries" as those cars which take at least one lap in qualifying and/or the green flag in the race (such as someone who shows up too late for qualifying and so starts the race at the back of the pack). Hence my comment that I didn't count qualifiers who didn't show up on the official results sheets. There are some of those "entries" who will be counted on the official rolls, but I can't know who they are just from reading the results. Hope that helps. Stan
