A slogan is a great idea. How about something like "F500 - Win the Runoffs for $10,000" I mean, is there another class where you buy a used car for $10,000 and win national races? This slogan may be too esoteric to attract new people to the SCCA, but I think it would work for people who are familiar with SCCA and trying to decide whether they can afford to club race, or looking for a class, or sick of dumping tons of money into engine rebuilds, shock dynos, illegal Spec Miata engines, etc. I also think it targets the type of racer that would be attracted to F500 (as accurately described in several recent posts). I would be willing to help fund a 12 month ad in the SportsCar classifieds if a few other will join me. Please feel free to reply with feedback to my proposed slogan. You won't hurt my feelings.
