If you truly are getting that kind of difference between your cylinders,
you
are do for a top end rebuild. Check you heads, make sure they are both
the
same.
I actually just did the top end. The kids overheated the car 2 events ago. I
checked compression and found 115 and 125. So, I took it apart and found
melted pistons and scored cylinders. Blah. I had a spare motor lying around
so I took it apart and found that the bits were generally in better shape
than what was in the car. I put those bits in and bumped compression to 125
and 140. But, yes I think you are right. I will need to do a proper top end
re-build. A winter project. I better start saving now to get the heads
re-chromed, or maybe I want to start thinking about trying to find a good
used rotax.
