For a muffler, check out Aaen. They have what you need. To keep it
legal you'll have to make sure it does not extend more than 24" from the
centerline of the rear axle. Don't ask why or you may stir up some old
wounds.
FWIW, I've also found that wrapping the expansion chamber helps a lot.
The "pinging" percussive noises radiate off the walls of the pipe.
Wrapping it does a lot to mute those sounds.
