Bobby, if you are talking about Vern's 800cc Rotax triple DSR muffler setup, don't!

It is quieter now(and 20 pounds lighter) with 3 dirt bike mufflers on it, about mid 90's under WOT. These are still pretty wimpy little mufflers from a 250 cc motor.

If Vern has a setup on the F500 he now runs that works, then, maybe....Vern is pretty smart. The first DSR setup was pretty clever, but it didn't work all that well.

BTW, a fellow and his buddy up in the Denver area with a Rotax powered Maverick runs a single Aaen muffler(I think bent about 50 degrees down) and he has fully wrapped and jacketed his pipe also. Not too bad. A number of stock and STS cars were louder than either he or I at the Denver Pro. But I was a little quieter than he with the 3" diameter and 13" long mufflers welded right up on the pipes.

I would have been quieter still if I had still had my wrapping on the pipes. I had a bog about 50 feet out that didn't go away until the pipes were blazing hot. Nothing like having to wait for your last of 4 runs to have the motor pull hard. A weekend of forgotton tools (like my RAD gauge) and lack of proper preparation because of my wife's messed up trip to Connecticut.

Denver is where the Nationals should be....lovery lovery clean super high grip conrete.

Chuck
