I know I will get flaming e-mail for this, and I expect no correct answers,
but:

Does anyone believe that an "off the shelf" Rotax 494 or 493 engine will
propel a F500 car at the incredible speed that we see listed in the June
Sprints race results. (2:26.875) I am not suggesting that anyone is
cheating, but I would like to know who is building these engines and where
do I send my money ?

I have raced their, Road America, and it is most likely the most beautifully
track in America, but to get to these kinds of time seems almost impossible.

Yes I know, great drivers, great cars, but only a few cars make this kind of
speed. Is it luck, great draft behind a FF or what ?
