Hey Murph !

I think it's a great idea !

Find out who's attending the Runoffs and look for the best person - one that speaks well and looks good cleaned up - to represent the class ! If there's someone you know heading to the Runoffs that you know can do a good job representing the F5 gang, ask 'em if you can nominate them for this important opportunity !

Some special considerations for us to consider regarding our spokesperson might include the following :

They should be a driver ! - With a good grasp of the "jargon" and how things work - whatever "airtime" - if any - we get will be short and fleeting ! Someone with a low "stress" level will not be able to "deal" with both the Race and
                                                    the Interview !

Not be a manufacturer ! - Which one do we select and who's nose will get out of joint ? We don't need any sword fights that'll linger on after the Runoffs ! Having one of each Marque on display with their drivers pointing out each manufacturers special features might work well - if time's available !

If your nominee sez OK - send their name in on our web list and let us start taking a look at our nominees ! How do we select one ? The SCCA is comprised of 8 regions - we should select 1 person ( a driver ?? ) from each region to cast their vote to be our spokesman !

The same 8 make the final decision regarding the "Talking Points" ! ( we'll have to make sure all know what the term - "talking points" mean ! We could end up with some nice long epistle's !

In the mean time start a thread where all can offer their suggestions for the "Talking Points" we'll use,
figure out what "points" will best serve us and give it a go !

I think the F5 group will eventually have to grab the "Bull" by the horns and do it themselves - is there anybody else going to do it for us ??

Ray Croc, the McDonald's hamburgler guy, was being interviewed one time and asked what he attributed his success to ? He replied - " I took a disorganized business and organized it "

Not a bad idea - it might work for us !

excellent idea. All for it but having spent 4 years in US Navy I learned never to volunteer.

them together, then we select a person to be the class rep who will then
contact the TV crew and review the list with them. The goal being that the
commentators will really hit the nail on the head when they talk about our cars
during our race. Hopefully, this will make our class a little bit more
attractive to the racing public.
I hope that this is helpful.
