Jim,

IMO there is good logic in reducing the distinction between regional
and national racing. As usual, though, the devil is in the details, and
working out how to transition to a different format isn't going to
happen for '07, if at all. That said, the issue IS a matter of
discussion at the executive levels of the Club, and I would not be
surprised to see it addressed in the coming months, possibly for '08.

In the meantime, tell your sister to upgrade to National ASAP, and to
prepare for a flurry of marriage proposals... ;-)
