I bought a used set of Goodyears and after mounting them, I noticed a radial
crack all the way around the tire in the sidewall.  Contacted Goodyear and
sent them a photo of it. They said (as below) not to worry about it as it
was the joint were the surface rubber met the sidewall rubber.  He ask if it
was leaking air, and I said no, so he said "no problem"
