By the way I have 2 brand new comet 4 weight clutches for sale. I bought them for my old DSR project & never used them. $75 each. I also have an Aaen 4 post roller primary. $400 for the Aaen.
I will bring them to the Runoffs if anyone is interested. Thanks ... I have never had a specific primary clutch problem with them. That being said I have not been in the top of the field since then. I do NOT relate that to the Comet. Everything interchanges with the Polaris and you do not have to get the taper machined aftermarket. I did, on one clutch, have to have the bosses 'tapped' to accept the starter gear. Comet also has the four tower. Before buying one of those familiarize yourself with the conversion formula (3 tower to 4 tower) for the fly weights. That's my $0.02 worth.
