Yes we are and it shows that with the correct car both of us can still win or come very close to the top. A friend of mine has a KBS Mk 4 (?) short wheel base car with my old Kawi (rebuilt year before I sold it to him) in it. That car will turn in any direction with even the road race setup and narrow front tires! Plus a very nice looking car. Was a National Road Race car until the went to the long wheel base cars. Just too small of a cockpit for us big assed guys to get into. I can get in but have a hell of a time getting out!

Plus my first solo was more of a hill climb with a big curve. If you have Google Earth, look for Fort Getty, Jamestown, RI. I missed one the events when a Corvette went off the boat ramp at about 130. My friend took one look at it and would not run his Ford GT40 there in the early 70's!
