Dear Mr. Clark,
I am a member of the Mid-South Region and have been club racing F500 at the
national level for 10 years. As my BOD representative, I am writing you
regarding the Board's recent rejection, as published in the Oct 2006 Fastrack,
of the proposal to change the above mention GCR section to allow a larger size
rubber puck in the suspension of F500s.
This rule change was approved unanimously by the CRB based on feedback from
40+ F500 drivers/entrants and one chassis manufacturer. I don't understand how
a rule change such as this (simple, within the philosophy of the class) is
rejected by the BOD after support from a majority of the F500 class and
unanimous CRB approval. Would it be possible to get some explanation of the
BOD's rejection, and more improtantly, to get the BOD to reconsider the
decision?
Thank you for your time and consideration.
H. Cory McLeod
