I've been autocrossing now for 3-4 years (since giving up roadracing bikes,
nothing like dragging a knee at 140+.....or like sliding to a stop from
130........). I know of "Hoosier Tom", but never had the pleasure of a
discussion with him. It's all taken in the humor I assume it was meant.....and
thanks for the encouragement, I'll keep the questions coming, I have much to
learn about this little fenderlesss cars............

midwest know Hoosier Tom. He's a knowledgeable guy and "slightly"
opinionated. He's also known to be a little "gruff" (he'll tell you so)
but he's really dedicated to helping us....and he likes it if our
questions lead to buying tires, wheels, or other stuff from him. It just
takes a little while to develop a relationship with him. Like most
vendors...if you plan to do business with them, they'll likely talk shop
with you and try to help. If you just want to pick their knowledge
tree....your results may vary. My comment about "calling after 10pm"
was just some instigating...last time I talked with Tom he was a little
purturbed because someone had recently called him late at night while he
was on "his time".
Given the peculiarities of F500 cars, you'll probably get your best
advice from this list. Good luck and keep the questions coming.
