Chuck The oem Kaw gaskets were always a pain in the butt. On the old race sleds we would cut a groove around the circumference of the cylinder about like a o-ring groove out near the od. of the copper. When the copper gasket was torqued down some of the copper was squeezed into the grove keeping it from moving into the cylinder. This was a easy mod and worked well. The stock gaskets did not like to be over tightened.
