I don't like them because I think that either the copper portion compresses more than the other part of this 2 piece arrangement or the other way around.
I don't really like the sound of those either Chuck.
The typical aftermarket discount warehouse head gaskets that have wrapped thin steel on the bore edges have always worked best for me. I keep reusing them.
Do they have a composite material to seal the water passages?
There are several levels of sealer for this area also. RTV being the weakest.
I used the high temp copper seal RTV, and I'm not impressed with the results. What do you recommend?
